H.E. Mr. Nabil Mohammed Al Saleh, the Saudi Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand and Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Taleb, the Saudi Cultural Attaché to Australia, honored the students who participated in the “Scientific Innovation Gallery” held during the Saudi National Day celebration on Tuesday 29th September. Eight Saudi students participated in the gallery with their remarkable achievements in medical, scientific and other fields. The honored students are: Faisal Alshammari; Khalid Abu Alshamat; Nada Townsi; Betoul Baz; Haya Aljadani; Hosam Zowawi; Badr Alzahrani and Othman Alghamdi. Presidents of Saudi Student Clubs of the 2015 round were also honored, in recognition of their efforts in running the clubs. Student, Badr Almahamadi, the winner of the literary contest “Together against Radicalism”, was also honored.
Worth mentioning, the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canberra annually organizes this event celebrating the Saudi National Day. The celebration of this year was attended by hundreds of guests, including Australian government high officials, ambassadors of Arabic and Islamic countries, chairmen and members of economic and trade organizations, in addition to members of the Saudi embassy and SACM and a number of Saudi students. The guests were received by H.E. Mr. Nabil Mohammed Al Saleh, the Saudi Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Deputy Ambassador Mishaal Alrouqi, Military Attaché Colonel Sami Almuteiri and Cultural Attaché Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Taleb.
