Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in Australia, within its development initiatives and in terms of its endeavors to promote and enrich the Saudi-Australian cultural exchange, has launched an artistic and creative contest for Saudi students in Australia. The contest involves a number of fields, calling for all talented and creative students to compete in various fields as announced in SACM’s website, (Invitation to participate) page. The page explains topics, requirements and conditions of the contest. Applications will open in April 2016.

SACM has also allocated a space within its premises in Canberra for establishment of a “permanent cultural exhibition” about Saudi Arabia. The exhibition aims at reflecting civilization, history, multiculturalism and development of Saudi Arabia. It will consist of several sections including a section for outstanding Saudi achievements, pictures and maquettes which will showcase beauty and prosperity of Saudi Arabia to SACM’s visitors.

In implementation of its approach of engaging the students in the development process, SACM has employed a competition program as a way to achieve this goal. During the past three years, SACM launched a number of competitions, such as: “Best Idea to Celebrate Saudi National Day Contest”; “SACM’s Website Smart-devices Application Contest”; “Legal Guide Contest” and “Together against Extremism Literary Contest”. The contests have attracted prolific participations of Saudi scholarship students in Australia.
