The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) recently published the second edition of “A Guide to Medical Fellowships in Australia” (in Arabic). The first edition, published in 2014, was out of stock due to high demand from stakeholders and prospective students.
The second edition consists of 137 pages and contains a big volume of information helpful to physicians interested in training opportunities and medical fellowships in Australia. In addition, the guide provides information about the Australian health system, royal medical colleges and specialized medical colleges in Australia. The book further discusses stages of the post-graduate advanced medical training in Australia, focusing on information pertinent to the medical training conducive to medical fellowship. It also provides information about types of visas required for those interested in working and/or studying in Australia. An electronic copy of the booklet can be viewed on www.sacm.org.au.
