Salman Bin Abdulaziz Becomes New King of Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Royal Court announced that Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz has been named the new king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, while Interior Minister Price Mohammed Bin Naif is the new Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Prime Minister. The smooth succession, according to observers all over the world, indicates stability in Saudi Arabia. King Salman was born on the 31st of December, 1935. He was the Governor of the Riyadh Province and later Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister. Salman Bin Abdulaziz has become the King of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prime Minister, on 23 January 2015, following the death of his brother, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz.
